Electric Double Beam Ladle Overhead Crane


Modern steelmaking method including the electric steelmaking converter steel making two methods.
Electric steelmaking is mainly used for smelting special steel, the main raw material is steel scrap;
Converter steelmaking is for smelting the common steel, the main raw material is the molten iron.


Electric furnace charging crane structure is similar with some casting crane. Since the crane lift the non-liquid metal, the biggest difference with casting crane design conditions, for design is that the main lifting mechanism does not consider the stand-alone work, therefore, the choice of motor of power is smaller than casting crane. The charging crane working environment is harsh, high-temperature, high dust; High level, fully loaded rate and frequent work.

Due to steelmaking way different, charging crane type is different. Charging crane have furnace charging crane and converter charging crane two type.

Use various speed system with speed ratio as 1: 10 for main mechanisms such as hoisting, trolley traversing and crane traveling. Also we can choose the suitable speed under the customers' requirement.

3. Design and Development:

4. Design and construction rules:
All the standards which is required for the crane is the Chinese standard. Each Crane pass through CE; GOST; SGS ISO provided.

5. Motors: The motors are used specially crane duty suitable for frequent starting, reversing & braking in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000 ISO 14001: 2004. Motors are totally enclosed in dust proof construction foot / flange mounted TESC / TEFC, Sq. Insulation class F, IP55 protection for hoisting, CT & LT motions.

6. Brakes: Always we make 2 brake for each mechanism. That could make the crane more safe. Also the high quality hydralic thrusters is the most important parts to make the brake perfect working!

7. Gear Box: The entire gear boxes are made of accurate hob cut helical / spur gears & pinions having hardness 250 to 350 BHN made from carbon alloy steel. All gears & pinions running on antifriction type ball / roller bearings in totally enclosed oil bath giving constant splash lubrication. The helical / Spur gear designed for adequate strength and optimum wear resistance for smooth operation & long life.

8. Wheels: The wheels of crane crab, main beam and end carriage are produced in our special Vacuum casting workshop (No sand inclusion technic) ) which make our wheels more elastic and outer surface hard-wearing and durable.

9. Electrical Panel: -Modular design, ease to install and maintain, reliable operation, fuse less circuitry, ducted wiring and compact terminals. Motor overload protection to prevent overloading.
Limit Switch: Safety limit switches for stoppers will be provided to prevent over traveling in all motions.

10. Painting:
-Two coats of primer before assembly & two coats of synthetic enamel after testing.
